Day 5: Addendum

Thank you all so much for reading.  It seems Day 5, on blending cultures (http://30days30deeds.com/2014/07/02/day-5-not-my-mothers-ramadan/), really resonated with  many of you.  Given what is happening in the world right now, the echo of the azan being recited in a synagogue and the image of Muslims praying on a bimah in front of the Star of David and a golden menorah, is more vital than ever. I found a video from that iftar and prayer at the 6th and I synagogue in Washington DC.  Let's take a look and see, and pray for, what is possible.On a lighter note, some of you wanted to see the three mini Michaels in action.
